Easter Egg Hunt!!

What a great day we had! We headed out at 9:15 am for the annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Portland Yacht Club.  All the kids, their spouses and grandkids were there (except one son who works nights and had to sleep).  

We were thrilled with a perfect and warm day - the hunts in the last several years were a bit rainy.

Our sailboat, Stargazer - a Ranger 26, is 2nd from the end on "B" row.

The balloon clown was hilarious, the kids AND the parents enjoyed his show.  All 6 of our grandkids are in this photo.  Caleb, 2 and Hayden, 3 were quite involved, they are not shy at all!! LOL

After the egg hunt we brought the girls out for the afternoon.  It was so sunny and warm that we spent most of the time out on the deck, the girls are fascinated with the waterfall and pond and the dog is too. :-)

I took my two stuffed bunnies out for a photo shoot.  Dayle's mother had made these and given them to me as a birthday gift many years ago.  Mr. & Mrs. Bun - oh and Paige.

We took the girls out to dinner then afterwards to the Feed Store to get a few cows for the Playmobil Barn I got for them to play with - it had all kinds of animals but no cows! Imagine!  We got the girls each a little pony too, and then they had a ball looking at all the chicks, ducklings, baby turkeys and geese in the feed store.

All in all a wonderful day.  I hope you have a great Easter too, if you celebrate it.  I want to thank you for the adorable comments on my last post.  I have been blogging for about a year now and I feel so enriched by the new friends I've made!  Hugs all around.  Teresa
