Sense8 star Alfonso Herrera has been tapped as the star of Fox’s Urban Cowboy, which, yes, we are getting yet another small-screen remake of a movie.

Craig Brewer (Hustle & Flow) is handling the modern Texas-set adaptation, which at least gets points for thinking Latino for its lead (Herrera is Mexican).
