Like most of us (a strong assumption here), I am also a fan of online “window” shopping, and this leads to unwanted dent in my pockets most of the time. Likewise, I was looking into eyeshadow palettes even though I already have a shipment coming from the US; and I landed into some beautiful quads from L.A. Girl cosmetics. I am not a fan of quads as I always feel they give very limited scope and occupies space. I went ahead with the L.A. Girl Eye Lux Mesmerizing Eyeshadow shade “Fantasize” as plum-based shades caught my attention. The total collection has 16 quads and they all are coordinated shades.

My Experience with LA Girl Eye Lux Eyeshadow Fantasize:
First and foremost is the packaging, it comes just the way you see it here, no cardboard box, nothing, just a thin plastic packaging. The rest of the box is pretty basic rectangular shape. It has 4 colors in non-conventional partitions. The pots are not regular-shaped rectangles, squares or circles but random criss-cross shapes. Even though the packet was freshly opened, yet it had scratches on the plastic transparent side. The packaging is definitely not very impressive.
We come to color selection now. “Fantasize” has a beautiful plum-based shades. The shadows were pressed in textured form with stripes. On touching, I found the feel to be velvety/satin like and there was good color payoff on skin as well. There are no shimmers in the product, so all matte lovers, heads up!
The fallout is minimal. These four shades are perfect to give a complete basic eye makeup look if not very extravagant one.
The darkest color is a deep plum with black undertones, perfect for outer corners or to give depth to the eyes. It will also look nice if blended in a plum smoky eye.
The brown-beige color is a good overall lid color. This has pink undertones. The third one is more like a muddy color, good for transitions. The last one is a brow bone highlight shade. It’s most powdery in texture and had most fall out compared to others.
